Dr Ashley McKimm is Editor-in-Chief of BMJ Innovations - a peer-reviewed journal focused on emerging digital health, medical devices, process and system innovations. He is also Director of Innovation and Improvement at the British Medical Journal where he leads a team building collaborations to improve global healthcare. Previously Ashley practised as a medical doctor in the UK before being seconded as a Clinical Advisor to the NHS England National Medical Director. He is past chairman of the UK Medical Journalists' Association
