Chompoonut Topothai obtained her degree of doctor of medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in 2008 and earned a master degree in public health from University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2014. She is currently work as a medical doctor in senior professional level at Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health. She is also working as researcher (Health Policy and System Research Fellow) at International Health Policy Program (IHPP). She is interested in topics that related with maternal and child health, breastfeeding, and policy and implementation. She has experiences in developing breastfeeding policy and the Control of Marketing promotion of Infant and Young Child Food Act B.E.2560. Her present project is “The study of breastfeeding practices among working mothers: a case study of Bangkok”.
