Between March 2012 to November 2019, he served in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India as Joint Secretary (Policy) and later as Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM) while holding the post of Additional Secretary and Special Secretary to the Govt. of India. • Between 1987 to 2012, he served at sub-district, district and state levels in planning, designing and implementing policies and programmes in the social sectors in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. • He did MBA in Public Service from The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
