Dr Natasha Shaukat MBBS, FCPS (Community Medicine) is a faculty in the Section of Environmental, Occupational and Injuries, Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS), and member Centre of Excellence Trauma and Emergencies, Aga Khan University (AKU). She is a health systems researcher with a focus on occupational health and injury epidemiology. Her research expertise includes community based surveys, surveillance systems, and injury epidemiology. She has a strong quantitative and qualitative background and has experience of implementing several community-based research projects not only within but outside AKU in collaboration with other universities and public health institutes nationally and Internationally. Her fellowship dissertation project aimed at assessing the prevalence and epidemiology of musculoskeletal pain among, construction workers in Pakistan. She has several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Shaukat is a medical graduate of Ziauddin Medical College, Karachi (2010). She did her fellowship training (FCPS) in Community Medicine, Department of Community Health Sciences, Aga Khan University (2018).
