Dr Yatan Pal Singh Balhara is a qualified Psychiatrist and has completed International Masters in Mental Health Policy and Services. He is currently serving as an Additional Professor of Psychiatry at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. In the past, he has been the Regional Mentor for the International Program in Addiction Studies. At NDDTC, AIIMS, he is consultant for the TeleMedicine Unit, Dual Diagnosis Clinic and Behavioral Addictions Clinic. He has served as technical expert for World Health Organization and UNODC, and is a Global Master Trainer for The Colombo Plan and UNODC. He has contributed to development of various resources for addressing mental health and psycho- social issues in WHO South East Asia region in the wake of COVID- 19 pandemic.
