Dr. Ehab Attia is the general director of the Infection Prevention and Control department at the Egyptian MoH . Dr. Attia’s professional focus includes technical support to the other departments in the Ministry of Health in Egypt and all 27 IPC departments in all governorates to maintain national and facility level infection prevention and control (IPC) commitment and adherence. This included update the national IPC guidelines (every 4 years), establishing a monitoring system, and implementing national surveillance programs of health care-associated infections. Dr. Attia holds Master degree in Family Medicine and MBA from AAST. Dr. Attia was previously worked as general director of Environmental Health Department and the Viral Hepatitis Control Department at the Egyptian MoH. Dr Attia is a husband and a father for three children.
